Vista and Llumar window films
eliminate 99.9% of ultra violet radiation to help preserve the color
brilliance of furnishings, fabrics, and carpets, as well as to aid
in the protection of fine woods, antiques, and art from
discoloration and fading. The use of Vista or Llumar window film
will also reduce glare and lower energy consumption.
A highly transparent retrofit item, window film is applied on the
inside of the glass and is compatible with single and double paned
glass of any shape or size, normally found in today's homes. Window
films are often used with decorative window treatments as a
protective complement for draperies, curtains, blinds, shades, and
even awnings.Vista and Llumar films are a
laminate of polyester and metalized coatings. The film is
constructed

with an exclusive, clear,
distortion free adhesive system and a special scratch free face
coating that allows for easy maintenance using standard cleaning
products, including those with ammonia. Window film provides an
added safety benefit in that it forms a shield across the glass to
which it is fitted so that if the glass is broken most of the
fragments will be held in place.
Today there is a range of Vista and Llumar films available to meet
the many variations in residential and commercial needs -
aesthetics, energy savings, glare and hot spots, longevity and
safety - and the line continues to grow as more sophisticated
technologies come into being. There are three commonly used product
lines; Neutrals, Low E, and Dual Reflective films, which carry a
